We live in India and after 3 months of travelling, this was our first stop at an Indian restaurant. Since we get so much of this stuff at home, we generally avoid it abroad. But this place really delivered.
Baba’s Kitchen, Hoi An is located bang in the middle of the Ancient town of Hoi An. The vibe of the place is simple and not very fancy.
They serve North Indian and South Indian cuisine. We had a delicious meal here. We visited here twice and tried both cuisines. The staff is aware of what’s Vegan and what’s not and they will help you with your order. The Masala Papad, Vegetable Chettinad, Garlic naan and Tandoori rotis were just as good as what we get back home.
The Tomato Onion Uttapam was fantastic as well. It was loaded with the veggies and pan fried perfectly. It was served with 3 types of chutneys and hot sambhaar.
Indian food from Baba’s Kitchen, Hoi An made us feel at home and we would recommend them to anyone looking to have an Indian meal in Hoi An, Vietnam.
